Elizabeth Wild was born in Richmond, Virginia, and resides in Los Angeles, CA. Wild is an interdisciplinary artist whose work has a strong foundation in experimental photographic processes. She is the recipient of numerous fellowships including one from the Fundación Valparaíso in Mojacar, Spain, a FIVA fellowship from The National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts in cooperation with the Corcoran Gallery of Art, and two fellowships from The Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle, WA. Wild has an undergraduate degree in Art and Art History from The University of Virginia and received her MFA from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. Ms. Wild has created a number of public artworks in Southern California including works for the Department of Cultural Affairs/LA, the Community Redevelopment Agency/LA and the Art Council of Long Beach. Wild is the founder and director of Winslow Garage, an artist-run project space exhibiting local and international contemporary art since 2002.
